5th Annual Barbara Vick Impact Awards

Each year, the Center for AIDS Research at Emory gathers to honor the legacy of Barbara Vick — an activist who organized blood drives in the 80s to help the LGBTQ community at the height of the early HIV/AIDS epidemic.  This annual celebration recognizes unsung heroes of the local HIV response and applauds them for the quiet and vital work they do every day.
