About the Event

Birth control pills have been heralded as one of the most important innovations of the 20th century.

The ability for women and other people with the capacity for pregnancy to control their reproductive lives is certainly an achievement worth celebrating; however, we also know that tools of family planning have been used to subjugate Black women’s reproduction in the past.

Join us on Friday, February 25 from 12-1:30pm ET for a webinar bringing together an esteemed panel of Black women for an open discussion about reproductive justice issues surrounding birth control and how, if done right, access to over-the-counter birth control pills can be one critical tool towards equity and bodily autonomy for Black women.
