About the Event

Dázon is a recognized visionary and advocate in the struggle for human rights, sexual and reproductive justice, and the fight against HIV/AIDS, with, and on behalf of, communities of women and girls living with HIV and those at risk of HIV and sexually transmitted diseases.

In addition, she holds memberships and directorships in a number of health- related organizations including In Our Own Voice: The national black women’s reproductive justice agenda; the national women’s health network; and the “act now end AIDS national coalition.”
